I offer quality private and group piano lessons to students from ages 5 to 65. I teach in my studio in beautiful Redmond, Washington. I have been teaching piano since 2006 and have played piano since I was in kindergarten. My dad wasn't a professional musician but liked to play around with the piano and accordion and played so many beautiful melodies and songs, so I grew up around music! My goal is to share my love of music with students of all ages by making lessons fun!! I strive to ensure that in each lesson, in addition to learning a new piece, there is a little time left for studying theory, composing, and repeating old material. I also try to combine more challenging pieces with simpler, easier-to-learn ones and to combine classical and modern music. I teach using traditional methods, tailored to the student's specific interests. I am also a music preschool teacher. I am patient and enjoy the challenge each new student brings. I love teaching children and adults alike. It's always a good time to learn and it's never too late to start! I look forward to meeting you!
